Meetings are on the 2^nd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. They make local donations as well as to the Children Youth Fund and Veteran’s Rehab. They also do community service work, provide military funerals when requested and display the Avenue of Flags at the cemetery. Last year’s donations were in excess of $15,000. They give school medal awards and savings bonds.

The Legion and Auxiliary sponsor the local baseball team.

Lions Club meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center. An evening meal is served. The Lions Club sponsors local baseball teams, makes several donations to community groups/projects and awards a $1,000 scholarship to a local student every year. Projects include Lions Club Auction, Fall Fun Fest Booth, Candy Day, collection of eyeglasses and buy eyeglasses for needy children.

One of two chapters in Fairfield of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. Philanthropic organization. Approximately 20 members. Meetings are the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday nights. They have a variety of meeting places. Community donations. Activities include the Prince and Princess Contest and Holiday Craft Show in November.   Involved in Fairfield Fall Fun Fest, Bluegrass Festival, Pets for People and prizes for the Literacy Fest, Relay for Life, St. Jude's Children Hospital and maintain flowers at the entrance of Maple Hill Cemetery.

Volunteers are always welcome (men and women).
