Maintain and decorate Way-Fair Nursing Home Courtyard year round.  Annually sponsor Fairfield Jr. Golf Tournament the 1st Thursday in August.  Booth at Fall Fun Fest. Participate in Fairfield Christmas Parade. Various other fundraisers.  Participate in other community events.  Contribute to numerous local charities.

Meetings are on the 2^nd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. They make local donations as well as to the Children Youth Fund and Veteran’s Rehab. They also do community service work, provide military funerals when requested and display the Avenue of Flags at the cemetery. Last year’s donations were in excess of $15,000. They give school medal awards and savings bonds.

The Legion and Auxiliary sponsor the local baseball team.

The Lions Club sponsors local baseball teams, makes several donations to community groups/projects and awards a $1,000 scholarship to a local student every year.
